The majestic elephant is the worlds largest land animal. They can weigh in at over 11 tons and stand more than 13 feet high! Though their stature is enormous, I tend to think of them as gentle giants, walking the plains and forests, quietly enjoying a good salad. Unfortunately, due in part to the trade of their ivory tusks, they are currently endangered. But I digress...These studs are a simple yet high quality celebration of this awesome animal. Starting with two solid brass elephants, Lisa and I fuse solid .940 silver to the back to form a post. With a bit of: hardening, cutting, rounding, and polishing they are now ready to be enjoyed!
